So it appears that the studio believes that A Quiet Place 2 wrapped up the story of Emily Blunt and her family since this third installment is meant to "expand the world" that viewers were introduced to in the first two films. While there isn't much known about A Quiet Place 3 yet, Deadline did report some details about the work in progress. A Quiet Place Part II shows more of the beginning of that invasion and also introduces several new characters.
The new film takes place within hours of the end of the first and shows the continued struggle of mankind to deal with the invasion of alien creatures that have incredibly acute hearing. This film, unofficially titled A Quiet Place 3, will be the first in the franchise not directed by John Krasinski and it even has an official launch date from Paramount.Ī Quiet Place 2 launched to commercial and critical acclaim earlier this month.
